The name Esparza is the maternal surname of the brand’s creator. Her grandfather designed this very logo in the 1930s when he opened the first photography shop in the historic centre of Valencia, Spain. Today, his signature is still used with pride. Esparza Silk is an independent, artisan silk fashion shop located in front of the Central Market and a few metres away from the Silk Exchange (Lonja de la Seda) in Valencia. A city deeply linked to the history of silk and the Silk Road, where the shop is located in the heart of this route. Each piece of clothing and accessory is hand-painted, handmade in Spain, created one by one, respecting traditional processes that make each scarf, shawl, kimono, blouse or accessory a unique fashion item.
